SP, M.Si, Nia Hidayat (Maastricht University, The Netherlands)
Nia Kurniawati Hidayat graduated as a Bachelor and Master of Agricultural Economics from Bogor Agricultural University, Indonesia, in 2012. She studied The Impact of Human Development Index on Poverty for Bachelor Thesis; The Impact of Changes in World Rice Price on Welfare at Various Price Transmission and Domestic Policy for Master Thesis; and The Impact of Eco-labelled on Smallholder Coffee Farmers. She is also a lecturer in Bogor Agricultural University. In the mid June 2013, she joined ICIS as a PhD student. She is working on the research program (SPIN project) in social and economic effect of palm oil with a specific focus on the livelihood effects for farmer. This research program is collaboration between Maastricht University (the Netherlands) and the University of Lampung and Gadjah Mada University (Indonesia). This program has been funded by DIKTI Indonesia and the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW).
