During OSM 2017, there will be ample opportunity for PhD candidates and recent PhD’s to present their work. In these sessions, the selected junior scientists will showcase their work. A few candidates will get the opportunity to do an elevator pitch on stage during the plenary sessions.
Junior scientists wanting to take part in the poster sessions should submit their poster digitally to Suzy Handajani email@example.com. Submissions can be made in three broad categories: Life Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences and Humanities until 5 May 2017.
Junior scientists eligible to submit a poster are:
1) those who are in the final stages of application for a PhD position and have submitted research proposals
2) PhD candidates working on their PhD projects
3) those who have received their PhD no longer than five years prior to the OSM date
A selection committee will decide whether your poster will be entered in the programme during the poster sessions. 15 poster presenters will be invited to give a one minute elevator pitch during one of three plenary sessions.
