Glenn Pardede was appointed as the President Director of PT East West Seed Indonesia (EWINDO), an Indonesia seed company on January 1, 2011. Before, he was the Deputy Managing Director for 2 years. He joined EWINDO in 2000 as Seed Operations Director, and he was 30 years old at that time.
Born in Palembang, 30 September 1970, Glenn enrolled as a student at University of Indonesia majoring in Civil Engineering in 1989. He was active in various student activities such as nature lovers, the Senate and BPM. At the end of the lecture Glenn became National Champion for Science Engineering Competition.

In 1996 Glenn was invited to the Netherlands to conduct management research and directly hired by Avebe, a company of the production and processing of tapioca flour. In 1998 Glenn continued his studies at IPMI-Monash University, and study about General Management Program and graduated in 2000 with MBA title. In 2012, Glenn also certified as a Coach of Neuroleadership Group, an International Coaching institutes.
At the time Glenn joined, EWINDO is on the early development stage with 150 employees. Now EWINDO is become the largest Indonesia vegetable seed company in Indonesia with more than 1,000 employees and revenue grew More than 20 times. In addition to his work as a leader of a large company, he still found time to contribute to the development of horticulture Indonesia in various forums and associations. Glenn is a Chairman of Indonesian Flower Association (ASBINDO) with the period of 2011 until present, Deputy of Horticulture Committee at Indonesia Chamber & Trade (KADIN), Deputy of Horticulture department at Indonesia Employers Association (APINDO), and active in community organizations and writes a column in an agribusiness magazine.
EWINDO is the first integrated vegetable seed company in Indonesia which produces vegetable seeds through plant breeding. EWINDO primarily aims for the development of local, cutting-edge seed industry to produce high quality vegetable seeds. In developing seeds, EWINDO uses professionals who are experienced in the area of plant breeding and seed science. Vegetable seeds resulting from research and development are produced, processed, packed and marketed for Indonesian farmers with the brand CAP PANAH MERAH. For almost three decades EWINDO always provides healthy seeds with high genetic purity and good germination in order to achieve good results aligning with the consumers’ wants and to become the key to success for INDONESIAN FARMERS.
