Dr. Edwin de Jong

Dr. Edwin de Jong (Department of Anthropology and Development Studies, The Netherlands)
Edwin de Jong is assistant professor at the Department of Anthropology and Development Studies at Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands. His research focuses on nature and natural resource politics, property and access, sustainability and livelihoods. He heads the interdisciplinary research program ‘New Indonesian Frontiers: Stuck between market, state, civil society and the contest over natural resources’. His most recent work on these subjects has been published in the Journal of Southeast Asian Studies, Critical Asian Studies (forthcoming in 2017), Wetlands and the Asian Journal of Social Science.
