Aprilianto Eddy Wiria (Department of Parasitology Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, Indonesia – Department of Parasitology, Leiden University Medical Center, The Netherlands).

After finishing his KNAW-funded PhD trajectory in LUMC, Dr Wiria is continue working in the academic and research both in Faculty of Medicine University of Indonesia and Leiden University Medical Center. His expertise and interest are in epidemiology, immunoparasitology and metabolic syndrome field. For the long term goal he is driven to link clinical care to research and develop a dynamic and multidiciplinary research group in clinical translational research. He is also currently hold position as General Secretary of Asian Medical Students’ Association – Alumni Club (AMSA-AC) which has aim to build a strong network and collaboration among alumni of AMSA and beyond as well as mentoring and working closely with AMSA-International.
